Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday inaugurated Child Help Line of the Social Welfare Ministry and along with two other projects under food and shipping ministries.

Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Child Help Line, a grain silo and Mongla-Ghasiakhali Channel through a videoconference from her Gonobhaban residence.

The Child Help Line (CHL) will be administered under the guidance of Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Social Welfare was established with financial and technical support of the UNICEF.

The helpline will offer protection against child abuses at homes, schools, workplaces, institutions and in public areas.
