Dhaka: A fire broke out on the ground floor of a building beside Ittefaq building in Dhaka’s Karwan Bazar area on Sunday, reports UNB.

Fire service officials said the fire broke out at about 1:40pm on the ground floor of the building and spread soon.

Later, four firefighting units went to the spot and brought the blaze under control at about 2:15pm.

The origin of the fire could not be known yet.
