Pirojpur: A female school teacher died after falling from a running motorcycle at Par Saturia village in Kaukhali upazila on Saturday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased is Nilufa Mahmud, 25, a teacher of Bholagati Government Primary School and wife of Kabir Hossain, a resident of Bholagati village of the upazila.

Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Kaukhali Police Station, said Nilufa fell from the backseat of a motorcycle at the village at about 8:30pm while she was going to the upazila headquarters for attending a workshop and got critically injured.

Later, she was taken to the upazila health complex where doctors declared her dead.
