Dhaka: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has informed BNP that its planned rally on the street in front of its Nayapaltan central office will be illegal without permission.

‘It’ll be illegal if BNP holds the rally on the street without taking permission,’ said DSCC chief state officer Khalid Ahmed on Monday night.

He said they conveyed the massage to BNP in a letter on Monday.

Earlier, BNP informed the DSCC about its Tuesday’s rally in front of its Nayapaltan central office through a letter but it did not seek any permission, he said.
