Two found hanged at Pallabi in Dhaka
Dhaka: Two people, including a teenaged girl, was found hanged in separate houses in the capital’s Pallabi on Saturday, reports UNB.
The deceased are Karim, 22, and Shakila, 17. They had been residing with their respective families in two separate buildings of the WAPDA colony at Jhot Patti Road of Mirpur-10.
Contacted, Officer-in-Charge of Pallabi police station Dadan Fakir said both the deceased were last known to be alone in their respective rooms. Karim was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room with a rope, and Shakila from her room’s fan with a scarf, the OC said.
He added that although the incidents occurred almost simultaneously, there was no apparent connection between them.
Being informed, a team of Pallabi police station went to the colony and recovered the two bodies at noon.
