Kushtia: Around twenty five people were injured when a bus collided head-on with a truck at Mirpur upazila in Kushtia on Saturday night.

Identity of the injured could not be known immediately.

The Mirpur police Officer-in-charge Kazi Jalal Uddin Ahmed said a Dhaka-bound Shyamali Paribahan bus from Kushtia collided head-on with a truck as it neared Atmail area on the Kushtia-Dhaka Highway at about 11:00pm and left twenty five passengers of the bus injured.

Later, the injured were taken to Kushtia General Hospital. Three of the injured were shifted to Dhaka as their condition deteriorated.
