Dhaka: Detectives arrested four alleged arms traders along with seven firearms, 15 rounds of bullets and eight magazines at Bishwa Road in Mugda area of Dhaka city on Sunday evening.

The arrestees were Ferdous Fedu, 29, Humayun Kabir Jhonu, 43, Shohor Ali Liton and Bhangari Liton, 27.

A team of the Detective Branch (DB) conducted a drive in the area around 6.55pm and arrested them along with the firearms, said Masudur Rahman Deputy Commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
