Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address over the reformation of a credible Election Commission at a five-star hotel in Dhaka on 18 November.

The BNP chief’s Gulshan office media wing official Shairul Kabir Khan on Monday said the press briefing will be held at The Westin at about 4:00pm.

BNP leaders said during the press conference, the party chair will talk about the reconstruction of the Election Commission and will present her party’s proposal for holding a free and fair poll in the forthcoming national election.

Khaleda Zia will also discuss about the recent violence on the Hindus and Indigenous communities, and other political issues, said the BNP leaders.

The party also invited representatives from civil society to join the press conference.
