Dhaka: The National Council of Bangladesh Chhatra League will be held on 25 and 26 July.
BCL central committee president HM Badiuzzaman Shohag at a press briefing at Madhur Canteen in Dhaka University campus announced the dates for the council in a written statement at about 11:30am on Friday. 

Badiuzzaman Shohag said the Dhaka University council will held on 11 June while Dhaka Metropolitan North Conference will take place on 28 May and Dhaka South Conference will be held on 30 May.

He called all district branches of Chhatra League to submit the schedule of their councils to the central BCL office by 10 July. 

The written statement also read the election organising committee, preparations for the councils, decoration committee, sub-committees will be declared later. 

BCL general secretary Siddique Nazmul Alam, DU president Mehedi Hassan Molla, general secretary Omar Sharif and leaders and activists of metropolitan North and South cities were also present during the press conference.
