Dhaka: Another victim of the Ashulia gas lighter factory fire died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early on Wednesday.

The deceased is Sokhina, in her twenties, who received 22 per cent burn injuries in the fire that broke out at a warehouse of Colour Max BD Limited at Jirabo Fulbagan at Ashulia in Savar upazila on 22 November.

Sokhina died at the burn unit of the hospital at about 5:00am, said sub-inspector Bachchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police camp.

Earlier, three of the burn-injured women died at the same hospital.

Thirty female workers sustained burn injuries in the fire incident.
