Young man’s wrist blown off in blast while ‘making’ bomb

Jessore: A young man got one of his wrists blown off in an explosion reportedly while making bombs at Mohishakura in Sharsha of Jessore on Friday noon.
The injured was Ashanur, 22, son of Abdur Rashid of the village, reports news agency UNB.
Sharsha Police Station Officer-in-charge Moniruzzaman said the explosion took place at about 12:00pm while Ashanur was making bombs at his house. The blast blew his left wrist off.
Police rushed in, arrested him and admitted him to Jessore 250-bedded Hospital under their custody, he said.
Police also recovered a bomb, bomb-making materials and a foreign pistol from his house.
A case was filed in this connection.
