Manikganj: Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route in the River Padma resumed after two and half hours of disruption triggered by dense fog on Wednesday morning.

Mohammad Salahuddin, manager (Commercial) of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation’s (BIWTC’s) Paturia Ghat office, said the authorities suspended ferry services at about 6:45am due to low visibility caused by dense fog.

Later, the suspension was withdrawn at about 8:15am as the fog disappeared, Salahuddin added.
