Dhaka: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) claimed to arrest 16 members of human trafficking syndicates in Dhaka and Narayanganj during a raid on Sunday night.

RAB 3 Commanding Officer (CO) Lieutenant Colonel Golam Sarwar said RAB also seized huge amount of fake VISA and passports from their possession.

The RAB CO said four human trafficking victims were also rescued with the assistance of Libyan embassy.

A press conference will be held in this connection at RAB media wing centre in Karwan Bazar at about 2:00pm.
