Dhaka: The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) of police detained five suspected members of banned militant organisation Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen of Bangladesh (JMB) at Mirpur in Dhaka.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali told NTV Online about the arrest on Wednesday morning.

However, the police official could not say the exact time of the detention.

He said details about the arrest will be briefed in a press conference at capital’s Mintoo Road at about 12:00noon.
