A woman and her teenage daughter were killed and two others injured when a shuttle train of Chittagong University rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Bibirhat level crossing in Muradpur area of Chittagong city on Wednesday. 

Sholosohor rail station-in-charge Jakir Hossain said the CU shuttle train hit the auto-rickshaw at about 3:00pm when the auto-rickshaw driver tried to pass the level crossing hurriedly, leaving Manowara, aged around 60, dead on the spot and three others injured, reports UNB. 

The injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared the woman’s teenage daughter dead.
