Natore: At least four people were killed as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Jolarbata area of Shingra upazila in Natore on Sunday morning.

The Natore Bonpara Highway Police Officer-in-charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun said a Natore-bound bus from Bogra plunged into a roadside ditch as the driver lost his control over the steering at Jolarbata at about 9:15am.

Around 10 people were also injured during the accident.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. The injured were taken to Shingra Upazila Health Complex.
