Rajbari: A man was shot to death by miscreants at Piralipara in Pangsha upazila, Rajbari in the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased is Mantu Khan, believed to 45, a resident of the village.

The Pangsha police said a gang of miscreants called Mantu out of his house and took him to Palerdangi of the village at about 1:30am.

Later, they opened fire at him and fled the scene, leaving him dead on the spot.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy on Sunday morning.

A case was filed in this connection.
