Dhaka: Body of a student was recovered from Jagannath Hall, a residence hall for the students of University of Dhaka, in the early hours of Wednesday.

The deceased is Apu Sarker, in his twenty, a year II student of department of Accounting in the university, said the Shahbagh police.

The Shahbagh police Officer-in-charge Abu Bakar Siddique told NTV Online, the body was recovered from the students’ dorm at about 6:00am.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The OC said details about the death can be known after receiving the autopsy report.
