Dhaka: Bangladesh Awami League (BAL) will observe ‘Victory Day for Democracy’ on Thursday, marking the 3rd anniversary of January, 2014 national election.

The ruling party will hold rally and victory procession in district, city and upazila levels to mark the day, reports UNB.

As part of the central programme, BAL Dhaka South City unit will hold a rally at Bangabandhu Avenue at 3:00pm while BAL Dhaka North City Unit at Russell Square at the same time.

In a statement on Wednesday, BAL general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges minister Obaidul Quader urged all associate bodies to observe the day with programmes announced by the Central Working Committee.
