Dhaka: Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Haque on Sunday said drive against unregistered motorcycles will be conducted across the country from 3 June.

The IGP while addressing reporters at a briefing at police headquarters Shahidul Haque said a large number of motorcycles have been plying the streets across the country without registration.

The owners have been given fifteen days from today (Sunday) to register their motorcycles.

Strict actions will be taken if any unregistered motorcycles run on the streets without any documents.

Law enforcing agencies will start drives against illegal motorbikes from 3 June, he added.
