Dhaka: A fire broke out at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in Dhaka on Saturday morning.

Fire service control room sources said the fire broke out from the 'underground' cabin block of the BSSMMU at about 11:15am.

On information, four fire-fighting units rushed in and brought the fire under control at about 11:30am.

It is still not clear what caused the fire.
