Dhaka: Detectives in separate drives arrested six muggers along with 90 laptops from Dhaka city on Saturday and Sunday.

The arrestees were- Khalil Gazi, Md Abul Kalam, Md Emdadul Haque, Md Hasibur Rahman Shubra, Md. Monir Bepari and Md Mushfikur Rahman.

According to information gleaned from Md Monir, a team of detective branch of police recovered 56 laptops from the house of Hasibur Rahman in Tolarbagh area under Darussalam police station.

As per the statement of other arrestees, DB police recovered 34 snatched/stolen laptops from a shop in Bashundhara Shopping Complex and arrested Mushfikur Rahman.

The muggers used to sell those snatched/stolen laptops through online market, said a media release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
