Dhaka: Jubo Dal senior vice president Advocate Abdus Salam Azad has been made BNP executive committee’s one of the assistant organising secretaries.

The party disclosed this on Tuesday through a press release signed by its assistant office secretary Asadul Karim Shaheen.

The post of an assistant organising secretary of the party was vacant following the death of Nasiruddin Ahmed Pintu on 5 May.

Another party press release said Jubo Dal central committee member Taiful Islam Tipu has also been made BNP’s one of assistant office secretaries.

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia approved their appointments exercising her power given by the party constitution.
