Savar: A fire broke out at a readymade garment (RMG) factory at Ulail in Savar upazila on the outskirts of Dhaka on Sunday morning.

Mohammad Alauddin, station in‐charge of Savar Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the fire erupted at about 10:00am.

On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and douse the flame at about 10:55am, Alauddin added.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
