Benapole: Police recovered hanging body of a businessman from a residential hotel at Benapole in Jessore on Sunday night.

The deceased is Saiful Islam, in his thirties, a resident of Savar.

The hotel authorities said Saiful checked into Rajanigandha residential hotel on 19 January. On Sunday, the hotel employees called him for diner, but Saiful did not response.

Later, the employees broke a window of the room Saiful was staying and found him hanging from the fan.

The Benapole Bandar police went to the spot at about 10:30am and took the body to the police station.

Benapole Bandar police Officer-in-charge (OC) Apurba Hassan said Saiful’s family has been informed about the death news. However, the body was sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy on Monday morning.
