Netrakona war crime accused Enayet Ullah dies at DMCH
Dhaka: War crime accused of Netrakona Enayet Ullah died undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early on Wednesday. He was 80.
Enayet Ullah, also a Jamaat-e-Islami leader of Netrakona, was a resident of Atpara upazila of the district.
DMCH police post in-charge sub-inspector (SI) Bacchu Mia said Enayet Ullah was receiving treatment in ward no 602 of DMCH’s new building under jail custody.

On 3 January, the prison guards of Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj brought Enayet Ullah to DMCH as he fell sick in the jail.
On 11 January, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) took cognisance of formal charges against him for crimes against humanity committed during the Liberation War of 1971 and fixed 7 March for the next hearing.
Earlier on 4 February last year, he was arrested following a warrant issued against him by the ICT.
