Fire breaks out in a shoe factory, 3 burnt
Three workers were burnt when a fire broke out in a shoe factory in the capital.
The accident took place on Wednesday around 2:00am on Alubazar Choto Masjid area of Old Dhaka.
The victims were Al Amin 20, Osman, 25, Abdus Samad 31. They received treatment in Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
After the treatment, one of the victims Abdus Samad said when they were working in the factory, suddenly some chemicals at the factory caught fire and three sustained burnt injuries. When the locals were informed they doused the fire.
On Thursday, Bangshal police station Officer-in-charge Nur E Alam Siddique, told NTV Online the victims of the shoe factory accident were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Three of the victims are receiving treatmentin the Burn Unit.
The reason of the firebreak is still unknown, added by the OC.
