8 injured in Naogaon oil tanker blast

Naogaon: Eight people suffered burn injures in an oil tanker blast at a filling station at Dhamoirhat upazila headquarters in Naogaon on Thursday.
Witnesses said a fire broke out as the oil tanker at ‘National Filling Station’ went off with a big bang while unloading fuel at about 7:30 pm, leaving eight people injured with burns.
The injured were taken to Dhamoirhat upazila health complex from where three were shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital following deterioration of their condition.
A firefighting unit rushed in and doused the flame.
