Gazipur: A suspected member of Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), who was reportedly staying in Bangladesh for about a year, was arrested on Sunday night in Gazipur.

Gazipur Detective Branch detained Khaled Mehmud from a garment factory named Uniline at Sripur in the district at about 7:30pm. He was working as an engineer in the factory at Bhangnahati area since 2014, said police.

Khaled Mehmud is a Pakistan air force employee and works for ISI, said DB officer-in-charge Amir Hossain.

Police is questioning Mehmud and details will be announced on Monday, added the officer-in-charge.
