Dhaka: A market in the city’s Gulistan area caught fire on Thursday night.

Duty officer at the Fire Service Central Control Room Mizanur Rahman said the fire originated on the 3rd floor of ‘Zaker Super Market’ at about 7:40pm.

On information, 15 firefighting units rushed in and brought the fire under control around 8:45pm, he said adding that it was still not clear what caused the fire.
