Dhaka: Police arrested 21 people from different areas of the city in the last 24 hours till 6:00am on Friday for their alleged involvement in illegal drug trading.

The law enforcers also recovered 1,733 contraband sex-stimulating tablets, 200 sachets of heroin, 850 gram hemp, 113 bottles of Phensidyl syrup and 135 injections during the ant-drugs drives.

Different police stations and Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police conducted the drives from 6am on Thursday.
