Salahuddin gets bail in Indian court

BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed on Friday was remanded in bail by a Shillong court in the Indian State of Meghalaya.
Shillong District and Sessions Judge Court granted the BNP leader bail at about 4:00pm Shillong time, reports Subrata Acharya from India.
Earlier on 27 May the same court sent Salahuddin to judicial custody for 14 days.
Shillong police held Salahuddin, who being missing for over two months had been found in a mental hospital there, for intrusion in Indian territory.
