Three schoolboys among five people were stabbed by some unidentified assailants in Savar Bank Colony area in Savar on Saturday morning following dispute over a love affair.

The injured schoolboys are — Sabbir, 15, Sadman Alam Risad, 15 and Rifat, 15, Class-X students of Savar Assed School.

The injured said they had enmity with one Manju of Talbagh area over his love affair with a class VII student of their school, reports UNB.

As a sequel to the enmity, Manju along with some people attacked them in the area in the morning and stabbed them indiscriminately, leaving them injured.

The attackers also snatched three mobile phone sets and cash from them.

The injured were admitted at Upazila Health Complex and Enam Medical College Hospital.
