Dhaka: A wheelbarrow puller killed as bus hit him in the airport police station area at Uttara in Dhaka on Saturday night.

The deceased is Tara Mia, in his forties.

The Airport police Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Hakim Uddin said a bus hit Tara Mia when he was crossing in front of the Central Hospital at Uttara at about 11:00pm and left him critically injured.

Later, Tara was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at about 12:15am, where physicians declared him dead.

The body was kept at DMCH morgue for autopsy.
