Foreign Minister greets his Canadian counterpart
Dhaka: Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali has greeted his Canadian counterpart Chrystia Freeland on the eve of the 45th anniversary of Bangladesh’s diplomatic relations with Canada.
In a letter of greetings, the Foreign Minister profoundly recalled the friendly relations between the two countries that have developed in both depth and dimension over the last four and a half decades, reports UNB.
Mahmood Ali also conveyed the deepest felicitations from the people of Bangladesh to the friendly people of Canada as they are celebrating the 150th anniversary of Canada Confederation ‘Canada 150’ this year.
On this jubilant occasion, he wished the Canadian Foreign Minister and the people of Canada peace, prosperity and continued progress, said a press release on Monday.
