Mosaddek Ali sent to police custody again

Association of TV Channel Owners president Mohammad Mossadak Ali, also adviser to the BNP chairperson, has again been sent to police custody for three days to be questioned.
He was placed before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman on Saturday afternoon, following a five-day remand in police custody.
Badda police sub-inspector Zahidul Islam sought 10 more days to question the entrepreneur in connection to a case involving an alleged firebomb attack on bus at Khilgaon in Dhaka on 30 January.
The court gave the police three more days to finish its questioning.
Detective Branch officers picked up Mossadak Ali from in front of the office of Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia at about 8:00pm on 1 February. He was first taken to the DB headquarters. Later on the next day, he was charged with conducting an arson attack on a Turag Paribahan bus at Khilgaon.
Great Turag Transport Company Limited owner Nazrul Islam laid charges under the explosive substances act with the Khilgaon police against Mossadak Ali.
