Dhaka: Detectives arrested eight suspected members of a gang involved in leaking SSC examination question papers from different districts on Wednesday night.

The arrestees could not yet be identified.

Tipped off, separate teams of Detective Branch (DB) of Police conducted drives in different districts overnight and arrested the eight, said Masudur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Details of the drives will be disclosed at a press briefing here later, the DC added.
