Dhaka: Police raided Dhaka University’s Kabi Jasimuddin Hall early on Monday and arrested three outsiders and an expelled student.

During the drive around 5:00am, police searched a number of rooms of the dormitory and arrested outsiders Salahuddin, Ruhul Amin and Mansur Alam, and expelled student Redwan.

According to the hall inmates, the raid on the dormitory followed a clash between the supporters of BCL hall unit president Arif Hossain and secretary Shahed Khan over capturing a room.
