2 sued over Islamic University question paper leakage
Islamic University: A case has been filed against two persons for their involvement in the leakage of ‘F’ unit admission test question paper of Islamic University.
The IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif filed the case with the IU Police Station under Public Examinations (Offences) Act, 1980 on Wednesday.
The accused are Monojit Kumar Mandol, a master's student of the IU Mathematics department, and outsider Mizanur Rahman alias Laltu.
Officers-in-charge of the police station Shafiqul Islam told UNB that the case was filed at noon.
Earlier on March 6, the university authorities suspended one of its teachers and two officials for their involvement in the leakage of the question paper.
It also expelled Monojit Kumar on the same charge and cancelled his graduation certificate.
Besides, the ‘F’ unit admission test was cancelled.
