ACC sues ex-BNP MP Hafiz Ibrahim
 
Dhaka: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday filed a case against former BNP MP Hafiz Ibrahim (Bhola-2) for allegedly grabbing a Rajuk plot through providing false information.
ACC deputy director Md Jahangir Hossain filed the case with Motijheel Police Station, ACC spokesman Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
According to the case statement, Hafiz Ibrahim took a five-katha plot of Rajuk in 2005 providing false statement and violating the criminal breach of trust although he, as a lawmaker, was committed to protect public property.
The case was filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act 1947.
