Pabna: A local Juba League leader was stabbed to death over previous enmity at Rooppur in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna early on Friday.

Police said Shahjahan, vice-president of Rooppur union unit Juba Leage and a sand trader had long standing enmity with Nabin of Pakshi over business related issues.

As a sequel to the enmity, Nabin swooped on Shahjahan and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was returning home around 12:30am, leaving him critically injured.

Later he was taken to Ishwardi General Hospital. He died on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital early in the morning.
