Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday greeted the Bangladesh cricket team for their massive win over Sri Lanka and asked them to continue this winning trend.

PM’ press secretary Ihsanul Karim said the Prime Minister phoned captain Mashrafee Bin Mortaza and centurion Tamim Iqbal after the match.

‘The Prime Minister congratulated the team Bangladesh on their win in the first ODI,’ he said.

Touring Bangladesh beat host Sri Lanka by huge 90 runs in the first match of the three ODI series held at Dambulla Stadium.
