Cox’s Bazar: Coast Guard members arrested thirteen suspected pirates from Matarbari Channel of the Bay of Bengal in Kutubdia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday night.

Tipped off, the Coast Guard men launched the drive at about 7:30pm and arrested the 13 along with two bullets, 10 machetes, 10 mobile phone sets and Tk 6,000 in cash, and rescued seven fishermen.
