Mirza Fakhrul off to Singapore for treatment
Dhaka: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to Singapore for medical treatment on Sunday night, reports local news agency UNN.
Quoting BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan a UNB report on Monday says, Mirza Fakhrul left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Singapore in a flight of Singapore Airlines around 11:55pam.
He said the BNP leader will receive treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore for various health complications, including blockage in the nerve of his neck and liver problem.
Fakhrul is expected to return home on 31 March, Sayrul added.
