9 including principal held for selling fake question paper

Dhaka: Detectives on Thursday night arrested nine people, including a college principal, for their alleged involvement in circulating and selling fake question papers of admission tests on Monday night.

The arrestees are—Mozaffar Hossain, principal of Gazirchat AM High School and College of Savar, Hamidur Rahman alias Tuhin, a teacher of Konia Coaching Centre of Tongi, Md Jahangir Alam, mathematics teacher of Sristy Central School and College, Atiqul Islam, a teacher of AM High School and College, Abdul Majid, office assistant of the same school and four students--Arif Hossain Akas alias Tano, Md Saidur Rahman, Rakib Hossain and Tanvir Hossain.

Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted a drive near Satrasta crossing of Tejgaon Industrial area and arrested the nine people, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The arrestees were involved in leaking question papers meant for admission to various public universities and institutions.
