Dhaka: The IPU fair, being held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), on the sidelines of the 136th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) has drawn huge crowds of foreign delegates.

The Commerce Ministry is hosting the fair displaying Bangladesh’s rich history, culture, heritage and exportable Bangladeshi products. The fair will continue till April 5 from 9:00am to 7:00pm.    

The fair is also branding the various development initiatives taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said a press release.

Various stalls covering pharmaceutical industry, leather industry, readymade garment, plastic industry, ornaments, tourism products, tea industry, cottage industry, Jamdani Saree, books and foodstuff have been set up in the fair.

There are banking and currency conversion facilities for the foreigners at the fair.

The fair remains open for IPU assembly participants, invited guests and media people.
