Sunamganj: Four people went missing as a trawler, carrying around 50 people, capsized in Tanguar Haor under Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj on Tuesday morning.

The Tahirpur Police officer-in-charge (OC) Nandan Kumar said the Uttar Sreepur-bound trawler from Tahirpur sank in the haor around 9:00am due to stormy weather.

All but four people managed to swim to safety, he said.

On information, divers rushed in to rescue the missing people, the OC said.
