Restriction on 25 points of Dhaka roads Thursday

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) imposed restriction on plying vehicles on 25 points of streets in Dhaka on Thursday, as Bangladesh Islamic Foundation will hold a grand rally at Suhrawardy Udyan.

DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia during a press meet at DMP’s headquarters on Wednesday came up with the traffic guideline for Thursday.

According to DMP guideline streets adjacent to Bijoy Shorani, Khamarbari, Banglamotor, Moghbazar, Paribagh, Sakura lane, Police building, Shabjibagan, eastern side of Mintoo Road, Officers’Club, Kakrail Church, Shilpyakala Academy, Anti-Corruption commission office, Fishery Building, Kadam Foara, High Court, Shahidullah Hall, Bakshibazar, Palashi, Nilkhet, Ruman Square, Katabon, Shahbagh, and Aziz Super Market area will temporarily be shut down from 12:00pm on the day.

Moreover, transport plying will be stopped from both routes of Shahbagh to Fishery Building and Shahbagh to Doyel Crossing via Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) from 10:30am.
