Dhaka: A fire broke out at the central warehouse of the Directorate General of Family Planning at Mohakhali in Dhaka early on Sunday.

The fire erupted in the tin‐shed warehouse around 12:15am, said Mahmud, an inspector at the control room of Fire Service and Civil Defence.

On information, 14 units of firefighters rushed in around 12:40am and put out the blaze around 3am with the help of local people, Mahmud added.

However, it is still not clear what caused the fire.
