Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her four-day official visit at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, is scheduled to join dinner with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday.

In the morning, the prime minister will visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, where she will be paying obeisance at the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishti.

Sheikh Hasina scheduled to leave New Delhi in the morning for Jaipur and from there will board a helicopter for Ajmer at around 9:30am.

The prime minister landed at the Ghoogra Helipad in Ajmer at around 10:15 am and thereafter head to the shrine.

In the afternoon, Sheikh Hasina will meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, later she will join the dinner with the president.

The prime minister is also scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress leader Rahul Gandi.

Earlier, on Saturday, Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi presided over a ceremony at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi in honour of the Indian martyrs who fought alongside the Bangladeshi Muktijoddha in the Great Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.

During the talks, the two Prime Ministers affirmed that the relationship between India and Bangladesh was anchored in history, culture, language and shared values of secularism, democracy, and countless other commonalities between the two countries.

The joint statement mentioned that 34 bilateral documents, including business documents, are being signed, exchanged, adopted and handed over during the visit.
However, Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque, at a press conference in the evening, told reporters that there should be no confusion about the number of documents and 36 MoUs, agreements, SOP and arrangements were signed.

Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ministry of External Affairs said 22 documents were signed and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) shared the list of 22 deals and MoUs.

Later, the prime minister and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday discussed the long-pending Teesta water-sharing deal between Bangladesh and India.
They discussed the issue when Mamata Banerjee met Sheikh Hasina at Rashtrapati Bhaban where she is staying.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines landed at Indian Air Force’s Palam Station in New Delhi at 12:05pm local time on 7 April.
